This scenic 3 hour ride takes guests through a working plantation, to the Koloa Sugar Mill, a real-life Hollywood moview set, through a rainforest, and through the famed Koloa Tunnel! Come travel the road less traveled on an adventure of a lifetime!
This excursion begins with a uniqe ride through the Koloa tunnel and then on to the Haupu Valley for some beautiful scenic views. A mud splash adds to the fun; after all, an ATV ride wouldn't be complete without getting a little dirty! A visit to Kahili Falls plus a short hike through a bamboo forest and a swim in a secluded waterfall make this tour truly unforgettable!
Puddles and paddles - Come Experience the Best of Both Worlds! This tour 4 hour mud bug tour, including check in and instruction, highlights the Makai side of Kauai ATV Tours' property and ends with a kayak adventure on the Waita Reservoir.

Drivers must be at least 16 years old with a valid ID to drive any vehicle. ID must indicate birthdate.
Guests ages 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult upon check in.
Children ages 7 and up may ride as passengers in the mud bug or mud hog.
Rider restrictions:
No persons with back problems or recent surgeries
No pregnant women
Long pants and closed-toe shoes are required
Guests must be under 320 lbs.
What to Bring:
Collateral for rental clothing (ID or credit card - One per group) - You will get dirty!
Bug spray
Sun screen
Towel for after the tour
Swimming attire is strongly recommended for the Waterfall Tour and required for the COMBO Tour)
Water-friendly footwear (sandals with back strap or aqua shoes)
What NOT to Bring on Any of the Tours:
Anything that cannot get dirty, wet, stained, bumped, or muddy
Sunglasses, watches, jewelry, wallets etc.
Cameras other than disposable ones

Yamaha Bruin 350cc. These fully automatic ATVs are simple to operate and fun to ride. Never been on an ATV? No worries! We specialize in "first timers" with complete riding and safety instructions before every tour. ATVs are intended for guests 16 and up. Riders must weigh less than 350lbs. One passenger per ATV. We require photo IDs for riders under 18.

The MUD BUGS are perfect for those who just can't bear to be apart (yes, we take a lot of newlyweds). Mud Bugs are fully automatic off-road vehicles that guests drive. Mud Bugs feature a 3-point harness system, roll bars, and a Baja tested suspension system. Mud Bugs drivers must be 16 or older. Passengers must be 7 or older. We require driver's license for drivers under 18.
Ohana Bug
Perfect for the family! A bigger version of the Mud Bug, the Ohana Bug seats a family of 4 comfortably! Be prepared to get dirty, even in the back row. The Ohana Bug rider requirements are the same as for the Mud Bug.
We understand that riding All Terrain Vehicles is inherently risky. We go to great lengths to ensure that every ride is adventerous, educational, dirty, and of course, safe. The following safety standards are observed on every tour:
Guests that have difficulty with the safety course orientation are given the option to ride in the Mud Hog or the Mini Mud Hog.
